RETURNS POLICY
I offer a no hassle money back guarantee. I package your product with due care and attention to avoid damage in transit. However, in the unfortunate event this happens please contact littlevillagecandles@gmail.com at your earliest convenience with photos of the damage so I can arrange a replacement. (Photos are required so I can make a claim against Royal Mail).
The return policy is 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase then unfortunately I cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, it must also be in the original packaging. Please email littlevillagecandles@gmail.com to let us know the item is being returned and retain your proof of postage. A return address will be provided.
Once your item has been received and inspected I will notify you to confirm that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of a refund.
If you are approved, then a refund will be processed using the same method of payment within 14 days. Please note that the cost of shipping will not be refunded.
If the product is deemed to be faulty after inspection then you will be refunded in full, including a refund of the shipping costs for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item. The item must be sent within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. If 14 days have passed then a replacement will be issued in place of a refund. Please retain your proof of postage. The funds will usually be refunded to you using the same methods originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
The returns policy does not affect your legal right to cancel (please see below) in relation to faulty or misdescribed products.
Your Legal Right To Cancel
For most products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail below.
You may cancel your order by following the procedure set out under the returns section. To meet the cancellation deadline, you must notify me by post, email or telephone that you wish to exercise your right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. Where applicable, please keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records.
If the products have already been dispatched to you or you have already received them, you must return them without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your cancellation of your order. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the products.
If you are exercising your right to change your mind and cancel the contract, you will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the products and any applicable delivery charges to the credit or debit card or other payment method that you used to pay.
I will process the refund without delay and in any event no later than (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any products supplied; or (b) if there were no products supplied, 14 days after the day on which we receive your cancellation notification. The refund may be withheld until we have received the products back from you, or you have supplied evidence of having returned the products to us (whichever is the earliest).
If you are exercising your right to change your mind:
- I may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If I refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay an appropriate amount.
- The maximum refund for delivery costs will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer. For example, if I offer delivery of a product within 3-5 days at one cost but you choose to have the product delivered within 24 hours at a higher cost, then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option.
